A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Greetings,
On behalf of the dedicated difference makers of the Beaumont Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I am honored to serve as the president of our chapter. During the next two years, Beaumont Alumnae will focus on creating opportunites and collaborating with partners to help our community thrive.
Beaumont Alumnae members lend a helping hand to those in our community. We are committed to build on our rich history that began over 80 years ago on May 16, 1942, by 21 focused and compassionate women. Our programs include various aspects of advocacy, financial planning, as well as health and wellness.
Furthermore, each year, our chapter awards academic scholarships to high school female seniors. We host programs, workshops and forums that ensure both the educational and social development of our youth through the Delta GEMS (adolescent females, ages 14-18), Delta Presents (graduating high school male seniors) and Read America (elementary school aged children).
In alignment with Delta’s National Programmatic Thrust and Public Service Initiatives, Beaumont Alumnae’s programs and events focus on:
-
Economic Development
-
Educational Development
-
International Awareness and Involvement
-
Physical and Mental Health
-
Social Action/Political Awareness
We hope that you will return frequently to obtain updates on programs, events and activities. We also invite you to follow us on social media.
